Participation on a HIMSS Chapter Board of Directors as an elected officer or member-at-large is open to all members of HIMSS. Chapters typically conduct annual board elections in the spring or individual members-at-large may be recruited through out the year. Chapters represent the grassroots of HIMSS and deliver valuable events and resources to local audiences. As such, Chapter Leaders have access to specific management and planning tools from HIMSS.
