Advocacy Day 2023: Connected Health in the Commonwealth

The HIMSS Virginia Chapter presents a slate of public policy topics, discussions and informational updates related to public policy surrounding health information and technology. As we enter the 2023 legislative session, we bring together health system leaders and public policy experts to explore the ways in which policy is shaping our priorities and our initiatives in Virginia. This year, we focus on the ways in which health IT is promoting Connected Health in the Commonwealth with:
- Access to care, including efforts to improve broadband and patient care services in rural areas
- Access to information, including efforts to make each person’s health data easily accessible
