Call for Proposals for HIMSS25

Are you a subject matter expert interested in presenting at HIMSS25, March 3-6 in Las Vegas? The Call for Proposals is a yearly request to receive proposals to speak at conference events.

The HIMSS25 Call for Proposals is now open through June 10, 2024, 5pm Central Time.

Submit a Proposal

The HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition is committed to amplifying all voices and welcomes diversity, equity, and inclusion of all types. Please ensure that your proposal is a good balance and blend of diversity in gender, representation, and ideas.

Present a General Education Session

General education sessions are the core of our programming, comprising 200+ sessions across many topic categories. Proposals are peer reviewed, scored and selected by members of the HIMSS Global Health Conference Education Committee (GHCEC) within their areas of expertise.

Apply to present and share your story — critical advancements and best practices are being developed each day. You’ll help shape the education for thousands of global healthcare ecosystem professionals at HIMSS25.

New for HIMSS25! Accepted speakers may be asked to pre-record their session approximately 2 to 3 months prior to the live engagement. Speakers must agree to meet deadlines to produce and record presentations in adherence to the timelines that will be established.

Accepted general education speakers receive:

• Complimentary, non-transferrable HIMSS25 conference pass registration.
  • Registration is non-transferable. Speakers are responsible for hotel and travel expenses.
• Visibility to thousands of global health ecosystem attendees.
• Membership advancement and/or certification points for HIMSS members.

How to Submit a Proposal

All proposals must be completed online and submitted via the online proposal application by the deadline date. Late proposals are not accepted. Prior to submitting, please read all resources below to help you prepare in submitting a proposal application. 

The HIMSS25 Call for Proposals is located in the HIMSS Global Submission Portal. Make sure you select that you are submitting for HIMSS25 Las Vegas General Education, *Non-Commercial/Unbiased Education Only*.
