Join the Michigan Chapter and HIT Commission as they discuss what is new in health IT and voice your opinion on issues in your community.
The HIT Commission organizes public meetings regularly throughout the year that are announced through a public notice. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) provides information about advisory committees, public meeting agenda, meeting materials and meeting minutes on this web page . Additionally, at each Health IT Commission meeting, a period for public comment is offered. Regular commission meetings are subject to the Michigan Open Meetings Act.
The Michigan Health IT Commission was created by Public Act 137 of 2006 and is housed within the MDHHS. The Commission's mission is to facilitate and promote the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of an interoperable health care information infrastructure in Michigan.
