Hybrid Event: State of Interoperability: Panel Discussion and Think Tank Event

Join us on September 11th from 5 - 8 pm for a HIMSS Eastern Canada Chapter Education & Thought Leadership Think Tank Event. This event is open to all active HIMSS Eastern Canada-Est Chapter members. This event will be provided in English only.

 

This session aims to drive discussion and reflection on the current state of interoperability in Canada from various perspectives within the health system. In recent years, there has been recognition of the critical importance of timely exchange and access to consistent and reliable health information to improve care, drive positive health outcomes and ensure a sustainable health system. This session will discuss the perspectives and roles of the various players within the health system as well as how they need to come together to drive towards a connected health system that Canadians deserve, which puts them in control of how they receive care and empowers them to access and use their health record as they deem appropriate.
