Michigan Chapter InterOpathon

September 15, 2022 | Chapter Event

Join HIMSS Michigan Chapter and the Interoperability Institute (IOI) for an event where innovative and bound-breaking expertise from healthcare, academia and technology come together to solve critical challenges and test possible solutions in a safe, open-source environment. Learn about and ideate ways in which we can help solve problems occurring with electronic consent and interoperable referrals within the state of Michigan. After a morning session of learning, you will divide into teams to begin framing out solutions that will be submitted at the end of the event and voted on by peers for best-in-class awards during the Friday MI HIMSS event. Solutions can range from a PPT ideation with workflows up to a working application. IOI’s Meld synthetic sandbox will be available for use in testing FHIR® resources.

This event is open to experts from business, academia and technology who feel passionate about making a positive change in the state of Michigan via data informatics.

Note: a small breakfast, full lunch, and snacks are included.
