After a lot of anticipation and preparation, both TEFCA and the California Data Exchange Framework (DxF) have each been launched “in production” with officially designated TEFCA Qualified Health Information Networks (QHINs) and DxF Qualified Health Information Organizations (QHIOs). Participating entities have started actively exchanging health information in the first three months of 2024.
