The roundtable objective is to bring together the leadership of our healthcare ecosystem in an intimate think tank format to openly discuss shared healthcare challenges, insights, and solutions in the disciplines of cybersecurity, telehealth, health information exchange, and workforce sustainability. The priorities most impacting our healthcare community, discussed in the executive roundtable, will be featured in learning sessions at our Annual Governor’s Health IT Proclamation Day and Heroes Conference 2023. This year’s executive roundtable is important in helping improve our community healthcare ecosystem through the power of leadership and collaboration.
Cybersecurity
Collaborative discussion of the state of preparation/incident response to cybersecurity challenges our healthcare community is facing affecting hospital and healthcare services.
The dialogue revealed the need in our community for cyber threat assessments, analysis, and consultation in service of safeguarding PHI Protected Health Information and maintaining uninterrupted operations.
HIMSS Cybersecurity Action Team is preparing for a healthcare community engagement based on the collective contributions and reflections of the executive roundtable participants.
