Open Call for AEP Reviewers
Calling all HIMSS certificants! If you hold a CAHIMS®, CPHIMS®, or CPDHTS® certification, we need your expertise. Our Approved Education Partner (AEP) program is expanding, and we need HIMSS certified SMEs like you to help review AEP applications.
No prior experience is necessary—just a passion for education and a few hours of your time. Each application review requires a time commitment of approximately 2-4 hours.
A current CAHIMS®, CPHIMS®, or CPDHTS® certification is required to participate. If you’re interested, please contact Gina Pope, Program Manager, Professional Development, and let her know which certification you hold.

Open Call for PD Subject Matter Experts
The HIMSS Professional Development Committee (PDC) is looking for professionals and subject matter experts (SMEs) to help draft job descriptions for key roles in our HIT Job Descriptions Document. We are currently seeking expertise for the following positions:
- Program Manager
- Project Manager
- Documentation Integrity Specialist
- Data Privacy Analyst
If you have experience in any of these roles or know someone who does, we need your valuable insights. The time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours per individual role.
