HIMSS serves the global health information and technology communities with focused operations across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Our members include more than 80,000 individuals, 480 provider organizations, 470 non-profit partners and 650 health services organizations. The HIMSS staff is made up of changemakers who collaborate with members to reform the global health ecosystem through the power of information and technology.

How long have you been at HIMSS?
November will be five years at HIMSS! Though I have been involved with the organization since 2010!
How do you support our mission statement?
Working as Strategic Partnerships in EMEA contributes directly to the HIMSS mission and vision. We are a global actor, but we cannot reform the global health ecosystem alone, which is why I feel that by collaborating with key organizations in all healthcare fields, we can ensure change. Every single thing the Communities and Strategic Relations team in EMEA does is driven by the mission.
How do you know your work at HIMSS makes a difference?
I feel proud of having brought partnerships to the next level. Providing our partners a holistic and wide framework to work together and build opportunities jointly, we evolved beyond the idea of counting on them only for our events.
What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about the work you do at HIMSS?
Though I like cooking, if you hear me talking about PIE … I'm referring to HIMSS Partners Innovation Exchange!
