Shereen Woon is Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Business Development, at HIMSS APAC.

How long have you been at HIMSS?

I've been with HIMSS since June 2019.

How do you support our mission statement?

I provide support by working closely with our vendor clients, through thought-sharing of their health tech content with our HIMSS communities. We empower them with the necessary digital health resources on our different platforms, such as HIMSS Learning Center and Healthcare IT News.

How do you know your work at HIMSS makes a difference?

Through interaction with different stakeholders, I am able to see first-hand how global healthcare leaders are open to sharing their challenges and experiences on digital health. For example, the APAC Digital Dialogue Series has created a platform for regional healthcare leaders to gather and share how they managed to tackle the global pandemic using digital health solutions. I am sure we must be doing something right when we have vendor clients who continue to support HIMSS’s mission though our different digital events.

What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about the work you do at HIMSS?

I love engaging and learning from our stakeholders! The privilege to learn about health innovation, public policy, workforce development, research and analytics is just amazing!
