I’ve been with HIMSS for one year and six months.

How do you support our mission statement?

I provide a wealth of education and resources to help increase value for members and to further the reach of information and technology career education in healthcare.

As examples, I work with our AEP program, which consists of educational institutions and companies who provide health information technology education and programs. I also develop and deliver a variety of career and workforce webinar education as part of our Early Careerists Community.

How do you know your work at HIMSS makes a difference?

I receive feedback from those who benefit from our career education and resources. I receive a lot of positive feedback from our AEP partners on how HIMSS has helped them expand their programs.

I also hear regularly from our Professional Development Committee that the content, education and resources we provide the industry are aligned with where they see the industry headed.

What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about the work you do at HIMSS?

I help professionals in the industry improve their skills, leadership and career potential through my work at HIMSS.
