How long have you been at HIMSS?

I first joined HIMSS in 2013. I then went on to work with the Singapore Nurses Association before re-joining HIMSS about three years ago.

How do you support our mission statement?

I engage and collaborate with the HIMSS communities in APAC. From healthcare providers, associations and academics to all of our members, I work to provide value and to understand the needs, challenges and opportunities of this extremely diverse region.

How do you know your work at HIMSS makes a difference?

I have been fortunate to have met many passionate and dedicated healthcare champions in my role at HIMSS. I feel one of the greatest things we do is build bridges. It is great to hear of a collaboration, project or even just an exchange of ideas that leads to a positive change for the future.

What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about the work you do at HIMSS?

APAC is such a diverse region in terms of language, culture and economies, which makes it all the more interesting to see the different innovative ways healthcare is transforming in the region through unique use cases and application of resources. There’s always something new!
