Subject Matter Experts Invited to Submit Proposals for HIMSS21 Optional Events

HIMSS is seeking proposals for the 2021 HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition optional events. The HIMSS21 Optional Event Call for Proposals is open until Feb. 24, 2021.

HIMSS21 optional event presentations will be delivered Aug. 9 and 10, 2021. Proposals for these sessions are peer-reviewed, scored and selected by HIMSS subject matter experts.

Accepted speakers receive complimentary HIMSS21 optional event-only registration; visibility to thousands of global attendees from across the health information and technology ecosystem; and membership advancement or certification points for HIMSS members.

HIMSS21 will feature 11 topics across symposia and forums:

  • AMDIS/HIMSS Physicians’ Executive Symposium
  • Clinically Integrated Supply Chain Symposium
  • Healthcare Cybersecurity Forum
  • Global Health Equity Symposium
  • Interoperability and HIE Symposium
  • Machine Learning & AI for Healthcare Forum
  • Nursing Informatics Symposium
  • Patient Engagement & Experience Forum
  • Pharma Forum
  • Professional Development Symposium
  • Public Health Informatics Digital Event (virtual only)
