She has led the organization to achieve HIMSS Stage 7 Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model designation, InformationWeek500, InformationWeek Elite 100 and Most Wired designations, the HIMSS Enterprise Davies Award for the organization’s innovative use of the electronic health record, HITRUST Common Security Framework (CSF) and SECURETexas Certifications.

She is a registered nurse who has twenty-three years of experience as an organizational leader. She is responsible for providing visionary leadership and establishing direction for a comprehensive informatics program, with a primary focus on care quality, nursing practice, administration, research, and academic partnership in support of interdisciplinary patient-driven care. She innovates current clinical practice workflows through deep understanding of informatics systems capabilities to assist providers in delivering efficient and effective care.

Denise Garcia Egan is the Director of Clinical Business Intelligence at Open Door Family Medical Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center in New York. She established the Clinical Business Intelligence department in 2016 and worked to bring data to clinicians and care teams through actionable, visual dashboards. She also works to align internal quality measures with external reporting requirements and develop reports for all aspects of clinical quality, infection control, care management, as well as operations and finance.

She has over 13 years of experience of giving clinical input to technology projects in all areas, especially regarding the implementation of the NYP electronic medical record. Vicky is responsible for supporting a range of clinical information technology projects related to patient engagement, alarm management and care coordination.

While pursuing her degree, she supported the Biostatistics department and conducted an internship at UCLA Medical Center in cost accounting, building standards and developing the system for seven cost centers within the Medical Center. Bella currently works at Cedars Sinai Medical Center as a Sr. Data Report/System Analyst where she supports Nursing and Operations with data and reports quality outcomes for accreditation, regulatory, research, performance improvement and medical staff.

Kathleen McGrow, DNP, MS, RN, PMP, serves as Chief Nursing Information Officer and Director Industry Solutions for the Microsoft U.S. Health & Life Science Industry Team. In this role, Kathleen advises organizations on how the innovative use of technology can support their digital transformation imperatives of consumer engagement, provider enablement, analytics for population health and cognitive computing to support a learning health system. Her expertise in data, analytics and artificial intelligence is used to educate organizations on how to enhance clinical, operational and financial performance, maximize capacity and patient experience, and transform to new care models and paradigms.

Netta is a born and raised New Yorker, living and working in Tel Aviv. Netta’s interest in behavioral science began at Wesleyan University, where she worked in a decision-making lab, helping teach analytics to non-science majors. She honed her analytics and management skills at a consulting firm in New York and afterwards began her startup career in Tel Aviv, Israel. Netta is currently the Director of Product at RMDY Health, a digital health startup, fully immersed in everything related to health and technology. Netta runs a bimonthly Women’s Circle in Tel Aviv, organizes various women’s workshop events (including two this past year in Cape Town and Tel Aviv) and held an Open Studio at Mute Gallery in Lisbon last August.

Gabriela Mustata Wilson, FHIMSS, PhD, MSc

Dr. Gabriela Mustata Wilson earned a PhD in computational biochemistry from the University of Houston and an MSc in molecular biology and biotechnology from the Free University of Brussels in Belgium. With numerous articles published in prestigious journals, she brings solid academic rigor and scientific expertise to the field of pharmaco and health informatics. She is currently the chair of the Health Informatics and Information Management and Associate Professor of Health Informatics at the University of Southern Indiana.
