As President of Mayo Clinic Platform, Dr. Halamka leads a portfolio of platform businesses focused on transforming healthcare by leveraging artificial intelligence connecting healthcare devices and a network of trusted partners. Trained in emergency medicine and medical informatics, he developed and implemented healthcare information strategy for more than 25 years. Dr. Halamka previously served as Executive Director of Beth Israel Lahey Health and CIO of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. As a Harvard professor, he has served the George W. Bush administration, the Obama administration and national governments throughout the world, planning their healthcare IT strategies.
