HIMSS serves the global health information and technology communities with focused operations across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Our members include more than 80,000 individuals, 480 provider organizations, 470 non-profit partners and 650 health services organizations. The HIMSS staff is made up of changemakers who collaborate with members to reform the global health ecosystem through the power of information and technology.
Dillan Yogendra is Managing Editor in HIMSS EMEA. He manages the media publications – Healthcare IT News, MobiHealthNews, HIMSS TV and HIMSS Insights within the EMEA jurisdiction.
How long have you been at HIMSS?
I’ve been with HIMSS for 7 and a half years!
How do you support our mission statement?
I aim to produce and present regular, high quality and timely content through our media channels, which helps to reform the global health ecosystem through information and technology.
How do you know your work at HIMSS makes a difference?
I’ve received some extremely positive feedback from a variety of stakeholders from across the EMEA region in the global health system on the quality of content we produce across our information brands, and this has been supported by a huge surge in traffic and engagement in the last few months.
What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about the work you do at HIMSS?
I wish people knew how relatively small the media team is in international, and so hopefully they can appreciate that we do our best with limited bandwidth.
