How long have you been at HIMSS?

I have been with HIMSS since January 2019.

How do you support our mission statement?

I am supporting our employees to live our Changemaker brand internally so we can work toward our mission successfully. I have helped the organization start a journey to immerse ourselves in each of our 5 Core Values: Tenacity, Curiosity, Belonging, Integrity and Simplicity. We are also transforming our people practices to support our new brand. Starting from recruitment and onboarding experiences, all the way through recognition and professional development, we are working to make sure our HR programs align with our Core Values.

How do you know your work at HIMSS makes a difference?

Reforming the global ecosystem is not easy, and we need all of our staff to be engaged in their roles to reach our goals. I know the work I am doing is making a difference when I hear employees commending one another for living our values in their day-to-day work.

What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about the work you do at HIMSS?

I am dedicated to continuing to make HIMSS a great place to work by creating programs that help to engage and develop our staff. We want our HIMSS Changemakers to have a career experience of a lifetime!
