How long have you been at HIMSS?

I came to the organization when Health 2.0 joined the HIMSS family in 2017, but in total it’s been almost 10 years.

How do you support our mission statement?

In my role, I curate content for our in-person and virtual events. I have the pleasure of bringing together exciting speakers, ideas and technologies that are directly transforming the healthcare landscape. I love having a front-row seat to all the innovation happening in the space and sharing it with our members and attendees.

How do you know your work at HIMSS makes a difference?

I’m always excited to hear the post-event stories. Sometimes it’s about a deal or partnership that originated from two people meeting at our event. Other times its attendees energized by a topic that was explored on stage and implementing what they learned at their own organization.

What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about the work you do at HIMSS?

The amount of time and work that our team puts into events is incredible. Every session that we have on stage, whether 15 minutes or an hour, has multiple hours of prep and coordination happening behind the scenes. Seeing all the pieces come together is incredibly rewarding.
