HIMSS will host the Healthcare Security Forum, a digital summit, from Dec. 7-8, convening cybersecurity leaders to address best practices to protect patients and remote staff and preventative measures to combat increasing data security risks and new challenges on the horizon.

This is a critical time for healthcare security professionals and patients, as data security risks and phishing threats reach peak numbers. Now more than ever, not only do security leaders have to maintain their ongoing duties, but they are also forced to protect rapidly expanding, remote infrastructures from more exploitative cyberthreats and phishing attacks.

Keynote speakers include Sen. Angus King (I-Maine); Janice Nevin, President and Chief Executive Officer, ChristianaCare; and Howard Kern, President and Chief Executive Officer, Sentara Healthcare.

HIMSS is excited to offer this interactive, digital experience to build collaborative networking opportunities, exchange cybersecurity insights, and share up-to-the-minute information from security experts.

Attendees can participate in live Q&A with speakers, message other colleagues and engage with timely, expert-led programs from the front line of data security.

Registration includes access to the two-day digital experience Dec. 7-8, plus three months access to all of the recorded content on demand. To apply for press credentials, submit request to press@himss.org.
