Beth Brooks, PhD, RN, FACHE, is a trusted and accomplished healthcare leadership advisor, empowering the next generation of leadership. With a unique blend of experience within the healthcare industry, in both nursing and academic administration as well as employment branding and marketing, Dr. Brooks delivers a thoughtful and comprehensive perspective.

With the education to back her experience, Dr. Brooks earned a Doctor of Philosophy in nursing science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Master of Science in nursing administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valparaiso University. She has been published numerous times and is the creator of the Brooks' Quality of Nursing Work Life Survey(C).

A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, she serves as the Vice Chair of the Board for Illinois Action for Children, chairs the Governance Committee for a private-equity portfolio company focused on higher education, advises numerous healthcare technology start-up company CEOs and serves as a governance coach for the Private Directors Association.

She is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellow Alumnus, 2012 Cohort and winner of the 2017 American Organization for Nursing Leaderships (formerly AONE) Mentor Award.
