Scott C. Rissmiller, MD, is executive vice president and chief physician executive for Atrium Health, one of the most comprehensive and highly integrated not-for-profit healthcare systems in the nation. As part of the executive leadership team, Dr. Rissmiller is responsible for the management and direction of medical education and research, service line and care divisions, as well as the system’s medical group, including more than 3,000 physicians and providers across more than 600 locations, serving more than 1.5 million patients. Dr. Rissmiller earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia.
