HIMSS21 Views from the Top Panel to Share Perspectives on the Transformation of Healthcare

A dynamic panel of leaders will convene on the HIMSS21 main stage Aug. 10-12 for Views from the Top, offering a bird’s eye view on their experiences and providing strategic education sessions filled with insights and inspiration.

Amy Abernethy, MD, PhD, former Principal Deputy Commissioner & Acting CIO, US Food & Drug Administration, will join a team of experts, from 10-11 a.m. PT Wednesday, Aug. 11., to explore How Has COVID-19 Permanently Changed Healthcare? Panelists will discuss their visions of the post-COVID-19 care model, new expectations for patient experience and the urgent need to continue to strengthen public health foundations through better information sharing.

In addition to Abernethy, Views from the Top speakers include Tanuj Gupta, MBA, MD, Senior Vice President, Cerner Intelligence, Cerner; Taha Kass-Hout, MD, MS, Chief Medical Officer and Director of Health AI, Amazon Web Services; and Shannan Moynihan, MD, MPH, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, NASA Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center.
