Evidence: Main Use Cases for AI Now

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a reality in many areas of our lives and is increasingly being adopted within healthcare settings. It holds the potential to power precision health with a new focus on disease prevention and supporting citizens to keep well across the course of their lives. However outside of medical specialities such as oncology, where it is well-established, uptake is fragmented. In this session, we will take a deep dive into the current AI landscape and explore whether the technology is really achieving the full promise of its potential. Experts and innovators will share real life case studies on successful uses of AI happening in healthcare today and discuss critical factors for its development, deployment and adoption. There will also be a view on the evidence and evaluation of AI. How useable is AI and is it able to do what it should? This session will offer practical inspiration to anyone interested in how AI solutions are being used in healthcare.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand the current AI landscape.

  • Learn from successful real-life case studies happening now with AI.
