HIMSS Recognizes 13th Anniversary of CPHIMS-CA Credential, Partnership with Digital Health Canada

HIMSS and Digital Health Canada are celebrating the 13th anniversary of the launch of the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems – Canada (CPHIMS-CA) credential.

CPHIMS is a certification program for experienced professionals, acknowledging and honoring their proven expertise and commitment to the field. The CPHIMS-CA certification spans the same advanced industry content on the exam but includes an additional 50-question module that tests the healthcare environment and regulatory content specific to Canada.

HIMSS and Digital Health Canada issue the CPHIMS-CA credential and certificate jointly to successful candidates. The credential validates professional competency to respected international and Canadian criteria. CPHIMS-CA signifies that a health informatics professional has the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform safely and effectively in a broad range of practice settings.
