Dr Mahima Venkateswaran

Mahima Venkateswaran is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Bergen and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. She currently works on research of digital health interventions for childhood immunization in Rwanda and for antenatal care in Uganda. In her relativley short career, Mahima has hands-on experience in large-scale implementations of digital health interventions for health systems strengthening in resource limited settings, and the simultaneous assessments of these interventions through cluster-randomized controlled trials as well as implementation research. Her focus has so far been on digital health for maternal and child health.

A medical doctor from India, Mahima has a Master of Science in Global Health from Maastricht University, the Netherlands, a Graduate Diploma in Politics from the London School of Economics, and a PhD in global digital health from the University of Bergen, Norway. She currently lives in Oslo, Norway.
