Prof. Wonchul Cha is the Director of the Digital Innovation Center at Samsung Medical Center in South Korea. He led the establishment of a high-tech future hospital project by conducting a multi-robot demonstration for medical staff/patients based on non-face-to-face medical services and realization of integrated control centre. He works as an associated professor in the department of emergency medicine, as well as the department of digital health. He started working at Samsung Medical Center as an instructor of emergency department and worked as a Chief Medical Information Officer for 6 years, while publishing several AI and Machine Learning findings for healthcare such as ‘Prediction Algorithms for Blood Pressure Based on Pulse Wave Velocity Using Health Check-up Data in Healthy Korean Men: Algorithm Development and Validation’, which was released at JMIR in 2021. He also led HIMSS INFRAM Stage7 achievement project with his team and this was successful for the first time in the world this year.
