Chris Bain is the Professor of Practice in Digital Health in the Faculty of IT at Monash University. His position is the first of its kind at Monash. Chris is doubly qualified - in both medicine and IT - and he is one of very few people in Australia with that skill set. He has more than 30 years' experience in the health industry, including 12 in clinical medicine. He's led numerous software development and implementation projects in the health industry, and works with many faculties and Institutes across the University, as well as with a range of health industry partners, in leading the Monash efforts in Digital Health. Chris' leadership in digital health at Monash is best exemplified by the fact that he heads up the Alliance for Digital health At Monash (or ADAM) - a collaborative involving nearly 400 people across Monash and its partners in Australia and SE Asia.
