Dr Shrestha has 25+ years’ domain expertise, in medical imaging and international healthcare informatics. His passion is on Medical imaging informatics and healthcare management – in which he obtained PhD from Imperial College, London as an MIT Scholar. He is a seasoned healthcare executive, co-founder and leader with successful track record in securing, contracting and leading delivery of large, complex medical programmes globally.  He is author of multiple peer-reviewed papers and holder of patents related to imaging, medical standards and medical devices. He has a strong passion for making a difference with innovative healthcare solutions in everyday clinical workflow, especially in growing markets. He has extensive international delivery experience, at Executive/Board and senior management levels. He has led multiple multi-national corporate development projects including M&A, IPO, alliance management and international consultations. Currently he serves as the General Manager and Senior Director for the Global Healthcare IT Division within Canon Medical Systems Corporation.
