As the Head of Health at AWS, covering the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) markets, Bachir is focused on ensuring AWS’s customers realise the value of their partnership with AWS, through accelerating the use of new and emerging cloud technology, driving person centred care and delivering better healthcare outcomes. Bachir has been a digital health advocate for over 17+ years, playing key global Senior Executive roles across the APAC, USA and the Middle Eastern markets. Prior to joining AWS in 2021, he was the Vice President & Managing Director of one of the world’s largest Health Technology providers, leading their operations in the Middle East. Bachir’s core focus was ensuring his customers realised measurable clinical, operational and financial outcomes through digital health transformation, whilst improving the health and well-being of the communities they served. His experience has enabled him to engage with care providers across the globe, covering Acute, Primary, Secondary, Community & Population Health Services, gaining deep insights into the challenges and opportunities that can be realised through digital health transformation.
