Mr Veneeth Purushotaman, Group CIO at Aster DM Healthcare based out of Dubai and responsible for the technology across the 7 countries Aster operates in and across all the business verticals that include Hospitals, Clinics, Labs and Pharmacies.

Veneeth has been driving large technology transformation projects across Retail and Healthcare in his over 2 decades of experience.  Before joining the Healthcare sector in 2016 he was a well-known and respected CIO in the Retail sector having worked with Shoppers Stop, HyperCity, Bharti-Walmart and Future group. He was awarded the “Most Admired CIO of the Year -Retail” by Images group in 2015.

Veneeth joined Aster DM Healthcare in 2018 and have been instrumental in driving a large technology consolidation and transformation across the group and is one of the key leaders supporting the Digital Transformation project underway at Aster.

Veneeth is a ISB-Kellogg and a Columbia Business School Alumni, a Certified Healthcare CIO and member of the HIMSS APAC and CHIME India Chapter.

Among the several awards and accolades he is a CIO Hall of Fame honoree and was awarded the Top 50 CIOs in Middle East recently by IDC.
