Successfully Executing Digital Health Transformation Plans

Transformation as a business concept in health care services involves fundamentally changing the way a healthcare organisation engages with patients and other stakeholders. Technology leaders and governments need to develop tools to ensure the overall health success and sustainability of complex health care systems. These tools usually emerge as technology innovations that have the potential to completely transform health care ecosystems. In healthcare, there are many fundamental drivers for digital transformation. These enablers can include costs, efficiency, opportunity, innovation, consumer demand, strategic technology trends, and/or realizing a strategic vision. Planning and ensuring successful implementation of digital health initiatives requires careful governance frameworks. Digital health steered by vision and carefully planned change can completely transform the delivery of health services. These concepts will be challenged and discussed in this session.
