With over 20 years’ experience in healthcare, Erik Van Hoeymissen has built the M*Modal EMEA business from the ground up. He has served as General Manager EMEA since 2011 and serves now as Vice President Global Clinician Solutions at 3M HIS after the acquisition. Prior to 3M M*Modal, he was Co-Founder and CTO of Telegentis, a company providing managed services for collaborative radiology networks, which was acquired by M*Modal in June 2011. He held positions at Oracle, where he served as Sales Director Healthcare and Life Sciences EMEA, and Agfa Healthcare, where he led the Advanced Clinical Applications development group. Prior to that, he was Co-Founder and CTO of QMedit, a spin-off company of the University of Leuven providing solutions for Clinical Pathway Management, which was acquired by Agfa Healthcare in 2005.
