Join the Greater Illinois Chapter for their 2022 Holiday Party. It'll be a great time to connect with old friends and meet new ones. Appetizers and complimentary beverages are provided.
This event is co-sponsored by the Chicago Health Executives Forum and the HIMSS Greater Illinois Chapter. A portion of your registration fees support the American Diabetes Association's (ADA) Summer Camps for Youth program.
The ADA offers 31 day and overnight camps each summer to over 3,000 youth living with diabetes across the United States.
ADA camp objectives
- Educate children living with diabetes, their caregivers and healthcare professionals about diabetes management, tips, tools and living well with diabetes
- Engage campers and their families in activities and sessions throughout the summer
- Connect children with one another, reduce feelings of isolation, increase social skills, improve confidence and independence in diabetes management—and foster friendships for life
