Richard is an experienced Healthcare Informatics Analyst and Leader with Tampa General Hospital providing support to the clinical and non-clinical areas of the organization on systems analysis, workflow analysis, build, design, testing, interface, and data analysis. Over 14 years of experience in healthcare, across multiple specialties and settings, performing systems analysis, workflow analysis, data analysis and leading process improvement projects in both clinical and non-clinical settings. Richard has been a member of the Health Information Management Systems Society for over 6 years and currently serves as President-Elect for our chapter. He is also a Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS) and has earned Senior Member status with HIMSS (SHIMSS) for his contributions in the Healthcare IT profession.
 


 

Rhiannon Doherty

Rhiannon is an accomplished healthcare professional with a multifaceted background in healthcare leadership, informatics, and behavioral healthcare delivery. She is recognized as a change agent, particularly in clinical informatics, with a proven track record in improving care quality, cost control, and enhancing the patient and clinician experience. Rhiannon’s notable accomplishments include leading innovative informatics projects with system-wide impacts, expertise in EHR development allowing for customized analytic tools, and advocating for quality improvements through enhanced interface user-centered design.

She currently serves as Baptist Health System’s Director of Usability and Clinical Optimization, where she is responsible for overseeing the optimization of the EHR system and other clinical digital tools, guides user experience initiatives, and develops and leads programs to engage clinicians in shaping the technology they use daily. In addition to her position at Baptist, Rhiannon has extensive experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner across various settings, including hospitals, residential facilities, and community clinics. Academically, she holds a Master of Science in Nursing and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration. She has also contributed to her profession as a member of an Epic Specialty Steering Board in her second term, a clinical education editor for Elsevier, has presented at informatics-related conferences, and most recently was asked by Epic to present a webinar on program development. Rhiannon holds multiple professional licenses and certifications and has engaged in volunteer work with organizations such as the Sequoia Project, American Red Cross and the Peace Corps.

Johan is the founder and President of Eminere Group which provides IT Governance and Cyber Risk Management Services. He has specialized in providing IT governance, IT risk management, IT audit and information security assurance solutions for the higher education, and healthcare industries. He is a previous President of the North and Central Florida HIMSS chapter and has had different board and/or committee positions within the chapter for more than 10 years.
 
Johan has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Stockholm University and he is Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), HITRUST Certified Common Security Framework Practitioner, and certified in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL-F). Johan was a 2012-2014 member of the ISACA CGEIT committee, a is a current  AHIA IT subject matter expert and Certification Coordinator for the ISACA West Florida chapter.

 


 

Michelle Crozier

Dr. Crozier is a Lecturer and Program Director of the Health Care Informatics MS program at the University of Central Florida School of Global Health Management and Informatics. She earned both her PhD in Public Health (2017) and Master of Public Health (MPH) (2008) with concentrations in Epidemiology from the University of South Florida College of Public Health. Her applied public health experience includes working as a communicable disease epidemiologist and program manager with the Florida Department of Health, in addition to serving as the influenza epidemiologist for the Volusia County Health Department during the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic. In her previous academic roles, Dr. Crozier taught as an adjunct for the University of Central Florida, worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and Epidemiology MPH Concentration Lead at the USF COPH, and managed the Health Sciences Collegiate Academy for Lake-Sumter State College. She is experienced in non-profit program evaluation, enjoys mentoring students, and her research is focused on mitigating the adverse impact of psychological trauma in the community.

 


 

Brandi Viciere

Brandi Viciere has been a Registered Nurse for over 14 years and studied at the University of South Florida in Tampa for both her BSN and MSN in Nursing Education. Brandi has worked in a variety of clinical settings including long term acute care, palliative care, medical surgical, hospice, education, and informatics. She is Certified in Hospice and Palliative Nursing (CHPN) ,  Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), and ANCC Nursing Informatics Board Certified (NI-BC). Brandi’s passions for patient care, process improvement, training and education align greatly with the Informatics field and Health IT. Brandi has been a member of HIMSS since obtaining certification in 2021 and enjoys attending the local and national events to connect with other HIMSS members and peers in healthcare.

Lisa was born and raised in Ohio (GO-BUCKS!) and moved to Pensacola almost 2 years ago. She is a Clinical Informaticist at a Baptist Hospital. She has been a Registered Nurse for 23 years with the majority of her experience in Labor and Delivery. She became intrigued with informatics when her former hospital system upgraded to Epic and PeriWatch, and she became a superuser for their unit. She completed her bachelor's in nursing and master's degree in nursing informatics. She received her board certification in Nursing Informatics in November 2021. She became a member of HIMSS in 2022 and looks forward to expanding the CNFL HIMSS chapter across the panhandle.

In her spare time, she volunteers with the Florida Highway Patrol as an Auxiliary Florida Highway Patrol Trooper.

Duane is a growing healthcare professional with over seven years of experience in the retail industry. He is a newly elected Chapter Leader to the Central & North Florida Chapter. Duane obtained his associate’s degree in Business Administration with a certification in financial operations. He received his bachelor’s degree in Health Service Administration with a concentration in Health Information Management. Duane has obtained his master’s degree in Healthcare informatics from UCF, in May 2023. He is currently pursing a doctoral degree in Health Administration, with an emphasis in Organizational leadership from Grand Canyon University. Duane’s transition to healthcare comes from his desire to reform healthcare and to create his own hospital system. Outside of her degree, she's the active president of the USF Student Health Informatics Club, a new club she and other student and staff established in early 2022. The club centers around educating students about HIT/health informatics and provides volunteering opportunities along with guest speaker events. Anya is so excited to promote the student affairs committee and provide opportunities for students.
