June 2021 Bylaws Election Documents

The summary of changes follows:

Article V

Section 1: Board Composition

HIE Chair updated to Interoperability Chair

Web and Communication Chair updated to Web and Communication Chairs

These updates better reflect the needs of the Chapter.

Section 4: Term

Director term updated from 2 year to 1 year. Removed language imposing maximum consecutive terms in office.

Directors are non-officer board members. This change will allow interested and qualified members to continue serving in their positions longer than the previous consecutive term limit.

Article VI

Section 3

Offers may serve no more than 2 consecutive terms in the same office has been changed to President and President Elect may serve no more than 2 consecutive terms in the same office.

This will allow interested and qualified members to be elected to Secretary and Treasurer positions for more than 2 consecutive terms.
