Riding the Waves of Change: Oregon Organizations Collaborating to Improve Healthcare

It is easy to liken the evolution of priorities in healthcare to an ocean tide where each wave brings new regulations and guidelines that hospitals must scramble to meet. There is a point where a retreating wave and a new wave intermingle, where remnants of the old blend with the new, bringing a sense of familiarity with the fresh incoming wave. That is where the healthcare industry stands now. While hospitals continue to struggle with familiar challenges like adoption and efficiency of EMRs and strengthening security protocols, fresher topics related to creative approaches for managing population health and the potential funding changes proposed by the federal government have dominated recent headlines.

Attend the HIMSS Oregon Annual Conference on May 10, 2017, at the Embassy Suites in downtown Portland to hear how national and local organizations are collaborating to try to manage the surge of waves that may break in the next year. Bring your questions and join us for an informative conference with industry leading speakers, panel members, and interactive breakout sessions.
