Dr Tarek Abudawood holds a M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning) from the University of Bristol, Bristol, UK. He received a number of awards for his outstanding performance during his Bachelor, Masters and Ph.D. studies and research.
He worked as an AI Researcher and consultant for a number of organisations that include KACST, SAEI, ATC, and Taqnia. Currently, he works as a Chief Data Scientist and AI Consultant at SITE.
Dr Abudawood initiated the AI Radiologist project in collaboration with KACST, KFSH&RC, PSU and Alfaisal University to automatically diagnose early breast cancer based on mammogram images.
