HIMSS, a global advisor and thought leader in health information and technology, announced today the appointment of Armin Scheuer to the role of VP Business Development International. Mr. Scheuer comes to the organization with more than 15 years of international experience as an entrepreneur, consultant and business leader in the field of digital health and medical technologies.
In his role as VP Business Development International, Mr. Scheuer will drive the growth of HIMSS’ activities across International operations. He will lead the EMEA sales and fulfillment teams and establish a customer-oriented, value-driven product portfolio in HIMSS’ international markets.

For the past fifteen years Mr. Scheuer focused his career on the digital health industry. He worked with Philips Healthcare before establishing so2say communications, a boutique B2B media & events firm for the healthcare IT industry.
