Eng. Ahlam AlSarheed is a professionally experienced leader in Information Technology. Currently she is the Vice President of Information Technology in Riyadh Second Health Cluster since August 25th, 2020 and the Executive Director of Information Technology at King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh since February 10th ,2019. She was also the Chairperson of Enterprise Architecture Department from January 1st 2005 to February 9th, 2019. She received her Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from Prince Sultan University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from King Saud University.
Eng. Ahlam focuses on innovation and patient centered services while increasing efficiency through technology modernization and business process improvements. She plays a significant role to achieve the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vision for 2030 such as to improve the effectiveness and response of the government, open Saudi Arabia to the world, build and launch platforms for future growth, increase citizens’ quality of life and develop innovative opportunities for the future. Also, she believes in the importance of implementing the Digital Transformation at King Fahad Medical City which aims to plan and monitor the electronic transactions.
Eng. Ahlam is passionate to learn more about the latest technologies and Business Intelligence. She continuously working on the positive improvement for the patient experience journey by leading the implementation of Electronic Medical Record (Epic System), its characterized by several advantages but the most important of which is its adoption of international medical standards, which are important in raising quality of healthcare provided to patients.
Moreover, Eng. Ahlam has participated actively in several Regional and International Conferences/Workshops and Exhibitions as a keynote speaker to talk about the various topics such as Leadership, E Government Barriers, Business Process Management and Strategic Planning.
