Heather Roszkowski

Heather Roszkowski currently serves as the AVP of cybersecurity solutions and chief information security officer for Augusta University in Augusta, Ga., a public research university and medical center dedicated to training the next generation of innovators, leaders, and health care providers.

Prior to joining Augusta University, she served as the network chief information security officer of the University of Vermont Health Network, a six-hospital system serving the residents of Vermont and northern New York, and the chief information security officer for the University of Vermont Medical Center. Preceding her occupation in the healthcare industry, she served on active duty with the US Army, bringing 11 years of experience in computer information security and combat experience with her.

 

Heather has served on numerous boards and committees including the State of Vermont Cyber Advisory Team, Norwich University Alumni Association Board of Directors, and The Veteran Affairs Veteran Advisory Board.

Heather completed her Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Information Systems and Business Management and a Master of Science in Computer Information Security from Norwich University. She went on to complete her Doctor of Science in Cybersecurity at Capitol Technology University in Laurel, Maryland.

Heather is currently a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
