Nurse (Master of welfare technology) Minna-Maarit Ampio works as Finland's first welfare analyst at the central hospital of Western Finland. Project started co-chaired by Satasairaala and Sitra. Later it became established as hospital's own function. Volunteering is also important to her and she is a member of the Board of the Finnish Heart Association. She is enthusiastic about developing daily work-related data analysis and utilization as a tool for the patient, staff, and management. She has been involved in dozens of research projects while working as a research nurse. She has been actively studying along her work, e.g. as a teacher and in healthcare analytics. She is an active supporter of career development for nurses.
