Dr. Alabdulaali currently holds the position of Assistant Minister of Health

Before that, Dr. Alabdulaali held the position:

  • Assistant Deputy Minister for Hospital Services
  • Director General of Health Affairs in Jizan Region
  • Director of Health Affairs in Al-Ahsa
  • CEO of King Fahd Hospital in Hofuf

Dr. Alabdulaali has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare management and leadership across his various roles.

Dr. Alabdulaali background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine and General Surgery from King Faisal University
  • Diploma in Benign Hematology
  • MSc in Public Health: the evidence-based approach, from the University of Manchester
  • Fellowship from king Saud University in hematology and transfusion medicine
  • Fellowship from the College of American Pathologists

In addition to his medical background, Dr. Alabdulaali has a Master of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. He also mastered many training programs such as: Executive training program from University of Michigan and senior executive education program London Business School (LBS), Dr. Alabdulaali has a collection of licensing certificates in the field of Quality and Health Services Management. He also a Member in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Dr. Alabdulaali also serves as a member and chair of many councils and committees. For example, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Red Crescent and is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Medical Referral Center.

Dr. Alabdulaali is an active member of the academic community, He also participates in scientific publishing, as he has worked on more than 25 refereed scientific papers, and participated in 140 studies or scientific papers in local and international conferences and forums.
