President: Celesta Cusick, RN, MSN/INF
Bio: Celesta is a Nurse Informaticist currently living in Anchorage, Alaska. Her 14 years in the Nursing profession has taken her all over the globe including 4 years working with Adventist Health in Oahu, Hawaii. She has worked in a variety of settings including home health, acute care, research, telehealth, HIE, education, and is currently working on data analysis in healthcare and deep data mining techniques. She is a recognized patient advocate and renown educator. She is passionate about empowering providers and patients through innovative technology solutions. |

President Elect: Colin Underwood
Bio: Colin is a 20+ year veteran of the IT field with specific service in healthcare. He has worked throughout the US implementing electronic health records and other medical industry IT systems for hospitals and clinics including implementation of Kaiser Permanente’s EPIC System. Colin serves as the Healthcare Program Manager at Alaska Communications, a telecommunications company in Alaska, where he assists organizations plan and implement telehealth systems. Colin has been an invited speaker to several National and State meetings on public policy and telehealth. Before joining Alaska Communications in 2009, Colin was the IT Director at the Kodiak Community Health Center in Kodiak, Alaska. |

The HIMSS HI-AK Chapter needs YOU to be involved-- we need active members with fresh ideas! In particular, the chapter is looking for:
- “Board Member in Training” for Treasurer- be groomed by our veteran treasurer over the next few months in time to assume the official Treasurer Position July 2019
- Open call for Communications Committee- we need people who are good at Social media, newsletter, and other communication venues.
