Dr. Mette Maria Skjøth, PhD, RN is an experienced top-leader in healthcare and has a long experience in organizational management, project leadership, informatics, innovation and research all with the aim of improving quality in healthcare, patient safety and workflow within the healthcare sector.

She is currently Head of Department of Dermatology and Allergy Centre at Odense University Hospital (OUH) and has years of long experience in the area eHealth, automation and most recently artificial intelligence being responsible for a number of national and international research projects and networks around health technology.

Furthermore, she is an elected member and Chair of HIMSS Europe Board of Advisors, founding member of HIMSS EU Nursing Informatics Community and committee member of the HIMSS Nordic community.
