Fran is currently employed by Digital Health and Care Wales as the Chief Nursing Information Officer to advise and develop national nursing digital strategies collaborating with government and national nursing leaders. 
Fran holds a MSc in Health Informatics alongside her Registered Nurse qualification and regularly presents at international and local conferences on the subject of clinical informatics. 
Fran chairs the BCS – the Chartered Institute for IT nursing committee, she is a member of the Welsh Nursing and Midwifery Council and represents Wales on the Five Nations Digital Nursing and Midwifery Leadership Group.
