Data analytics in healthcare has entered a new phase, from Artificial Intelligence underpinning EHR systems to Trusted Research Environments, running on real-time data, across tens of millions of records. This is changing the landscape of population health management, disease prediction, outbreak detection, KPI management and operational performance. As the field advances rapidly, we need to consider new metrics to truly measure advanced data capabilities.
