HIMSS proprietary Maturity Models provide clear adoption and implementation pathways for health systems to make the most out of their organization’s technology and services investments. The Digital Health Indicator (DHI) measures the progress healthcare organizations have made toward building a connected and secure, outcomes-driven, sustainable digital health ecosystem based on four key dimensions: governance and workforce, interoperability, person-enabled health, and predictive analytics. This session will take a “deep dive” into many of the HIMSS maturity models and the Digital Health Indicator highlighting how digital transformation can improve health system outcomes. The material will cover the domains, key indicators and, for the maturity models, how to progress through maturity stages 0 – 7.  HIMSS subject-matter experts will examine the evidence-based foundation of the HIMSS models, share a case study demonstrating the outcomes achieved and explore how the model may be applied in Indonesia.
