Dan Bowden is VP and CISO at Sentara Healthcare. Dan has led cybersecurity and technology programs for healthcare, higher education, banking, retail, and the military for the past 25 years. He works very actively with Virginia-based universities developing the cybersecurity workforce of the future, and employs over 10 university students as continuous part-time staff. Dan is working on cybersecurity solutions for cloud and digital platforms, and researching multiple cybersecurity and business use cases with blockchain technology.
