Hoda MF Wahba is a professor of Geriatrics and Gerontology, with the passion to help vulnerable populations as elderly through increasing access to healthcare and delivering patient-centered, value-based care. She co-founded Ain Shams University Virtual Hospital (AVH) which aims to innovate and deliver technology-enabled healthcare solutions in low- and middle-income countries. Is the chief medical officer at AVH leading a multidisciplinary team, of around 100 professionals, consisting of physicians, engineers and computer scientists that through the “Treat, Teach, Innovate” concept deliver a range of services as telemedicine, augmented reality, artificial intelligence among others. Lead, initiatives increasing awareness and adoption, international accreditation, and legislation of telemedicine in Egypt.
